Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions govern participation as Affiliate Teachers with Meditate: School of Mindfulness & Sound (MSOMS) and sets forth the terms under which the Affiliate Teacher is authorized to deliver approved MSOMS certifications, trainings, programs and courses.
By checking each box below and signing this agreement, you affirm your understanding of, and commitment to uphold, the terms and professional standards outlined herein.

Affiliate Fee, Term, Renewal & Access to Materials
☐ I acknowledge that the Affiliate Teacher fee is payable annually and is a condition of maintaining active Affiliate Teacher status and authorization to teach MSOMS approved certifications, trainings, programs, and courses.
☐ I understand that the Affiliate membership term runs annually from August 1 through July 31 of the following year.
☐ I acknowledge that if I join after August 1st and prior to July 31st, my Affiliate Fee will be calculated on a pro-rated basis monthly for the remainder of the current annual term.
☐ I understand that Affiliate status does not renew automatically and that it is my responsibility to renew prior to the expiration date in order to maintain uninterrupted teaching authorization.
☐ I acknowledge that continued authorization to teach is contingent upon full and timely payment of the applicable Affiliate Fee for each new annual term.
☐ I understand that payment of the Affiliate Fee grants me a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable access and use of the official MSOMS Affiliate Teacher Manual and associated authorized teaching materials solely for the duration of the active annual term.
☐ I acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in the Affiliate Teacher Manual and related materials remain the sole and exclusive property of MSOMS.
☐ I understand that MSOMS reserves the right to suspend or revoke my teaching authorization if payment is not received by the applicable renewal date.
☐ I agree that, unless otherwise required by applicable law, all Affiliate Fees are non-refundable once access to materials, branding, or teaching authorization has been granted.
☐ I acknowledge that MSOMS reserves the right to adjust the Affiliate Fee for future terms, provided reasonable notice is given prior to the commencement of the new annual cycle.
☐ I agree that upon expiration, suspension, or termination of my Affiliate status, I will immediately cease representing myself as an MSOMS Affiliate Teacher and discontinue all use of MSOMS materials, branding, and intellectual property.
Teaching Standards & Educational Consistency
☐ I agree to use the official MSOMS Affiliate Teacher Manual as the primary structural and content framework for delivering all authorized certifications, trainings, programs, and courses.
☐ I understand that the Affiliate Teacher Manual defines the required sequence, structure, and core content of each program and agree to teach in alignment with its guidance.
☐ I acknowledge that each enrolled student for a MSOMS certification, must have their own official MSOMS Student Manual and that sharing, copying, or distributing manuals between students is strictly prohibited.
☐ I agree that I will not add to, remove, modify, reinterpret, or alter any official MSOMS curriculum materials without prior written authorization.
☐ I understand that this prohibition includes, but is not limited to, manuals, videos, handouts, workbooks, digital content, recorded materials, and supplemental teaching resources provided by MSOMS.
☐ I agree not to create derivative works, substitute materials, or parallel content presented as official MSOMS curriculum without express written approval.
☐ I acknowledge that these requirements are established to ensure educational consistency, student clarity, quality control, and the integrity of the lineage as held by MSOMS.
☐ I understand that adherence to these teaching standards is a condition of maintaining Affiliate Teacher authorization.
☐ I will not position myself as founder, creator, or owner of any of the approved MSOMS certifications, trainings, programs, and courses that I teach.
☐ I will not present MSOMS practices as a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care.
☐ I will clearly communicate that MSOMS trainings do not guarantee specific outcomes.
Instrument Standards
(Excluding Sound Therapies Certification)
☐ I acknowledge that the quality, safety, and integrity of the teaching at MSOMS are supported by the appropriate and consistent use of approved teaching instruments.
☐ I agree to use only instruments that meet MSOMS-approved standards and specifications when delivering authorized certifications.
☐ I understand that the use of substitute, modified, or unapproved instruments may compromise student experience, safety, and educational consistency.
☐ I agree not to introduce alternative instruments into official MSOMS certification trainings without prior written authorization from MSOMS.
☐ I acknowledge that any instruments used must be maintained in safe, functional, and professional condition suitable for teaching environments.
☐ I understand that adherence to approved instrument standards is required to preserve the quality, consistency, and clarity of the lineage held by MSOMS.
☐ I acknowledge that failure to comply with approved instrument requirements may result in review, suspension, or revocation of Affiliate Teacher authorization.
Independent Business Responsibility, Booking & Enrolment
☐ I acknowledge that, as an Affiliate Teacher, I operate as an independent business owner and am solely responsible for the management and administration of my own events, trainings and certification programs.
☐ I understand that this responsibility includes, but is not limited to, event planning, scheduling, venue arrangements (if applicable), marketing, enrolment processing, payment collection, student communication, record keeping, data protection and cancellation management.
☐ I acknowledge that MSOMS does not manage, administer, process payments for, or assume liability for Affiliate-led events unless expressly agreed in writing.
☐ I accept full responsibility for establishing and communicating my own cancellation, refund, and transfer policies in compliance with applicable consumer and business laws in my jurisdiction.
☐ I agree to notify MSOMS in advance of any planned delivery of approved certifications, trainings, or programs, in accordance with MSOMS reporting requirements.
☐ I understand that I am responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting of individual student enrolments to MSOMS, for entry into Introductory lessons, certifications, or approved training programs.
☐ I agree to notify MSOMS promptly upon a student’s successful completion of program requirements, so that further access on MSOMS network is granted where applicable.
☐ I acknowledge that maintaining accurate records, transparent communication, and timely reporting to MSOMS is a condition of maintaining Affiliate Teacher authorization.
☐ I understand that I am solely responsible for complying with ALL applicable local laws, tax obligations and insurance coverage relating to my business activities.
Student Manuals, Training Portal Access & Certification Requirements
☐ I understand that in order to certify students in any MSOMS approved certification program, I am required to purchase the official MSOMS Student Manual & Training Portal Access per enrolled student.
☐ I acknowledge that the official MSOMS Student Manual & Training Portal Access is a mandatory component of certification eligibility and contains the authorized final certification documentation. This requirement exists to preserve professional standards and institutional integrity.
☐ I understand that certifications may not be issued unless the required official Student Manual & Training Portal Access has been purchased for each individual student.
☐ I agree that all Student Manual & Training Portal Access purchases are final and non-refundable.
☐ I understand that Student Manuals may only be returned in the event of verified damage sustained during delivery to the Affiliate Teacher.
☐ I agree that any claim for damaged materials must be notified via email, with supporting photographic evidence, within reasonable time of confirmed delivery.
☐ I understand that failure to report delivery damage within reasonable time, constitutes acceptance of the materials as delivered and that MSOMS reserves the right to deny non-compliant return or replacement requests.
☐ I understand that duplication, reproduction, or unauthorized distribution of Student Manuals is strictly prohibited.
Release & Limitation of Liability
☐ I acknowledge and agree that I operate as an independent and independent business owner. Nothing in this Agreement creates or shall be construed to create an employment, franchise, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between myself and MSOMS.
☐ I understand that I am solely responsible for all and any statutory or regulatory obligations arising from my business activities.
☐ I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate professional, public liability, and business insurance coverage as required in my jurisdiction.
☐ I agree that I am independently liable for my business operations, teaching activities, marketing, contracts with students, and any claims arising therefrom.
☐ I agree to indemnify and hold harmless MSOMS, its directors, officers, employees, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from my independent business activities, except where caused solely by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of MSOMS.
☐ I confirm I have read and retain a copy of the Code of Ethics & Guiding Principles of MSOMS
Term & Termination
☐ I understand that this Agreement remains in effect for the duration of my Affiliate Teacher status.
☐ I acknowledge that MSOMS may revoke authorization to teach at any time if ethical or contractual violations occur.
☐ Upon termination, I agree to cease using MSOMS branding, materials, and representations immediately.
Note: Once your application is approved you will be required to sign our terms and conditions form.
