Learning to not be emotionally reactive when you feel undermined or attacked takes a lot of restraint and practice. Learning to be present, aware and accepting of life takes perseverance. Discovering what really makes you...YOU, takes reflection.
I like to say that practicing equanimity will lead you to a place where you become so grounded in who you are, so comfortable in your beliefs, and so CONFIDENT, that you become like a boulder in the middle of a stream. Life is the water rushing around you, but you just let it flow and hold your ground.

EQUANIMITY TRAINING COURSE

The Equanimity Training Course is laid out over 12 Modules. I have designed each module to be practiced for AT LEAST one week, however it is YOUR course, you set the pace. I do encourage you to take your time and dive in to each level of practice with the intention to absorb it and not just learn it.
I call this program a "NEXT LEVEL" Mindfulness program, but that doesn't mean you have to have already studied mindfulness. You will be provided with some "pre-course" information that will set you up for success, including an introduction to mindfulness and several recordings to begin or deepen your practice.
Each module will contain recordings, meditations, readings and other materials for you to study and practice. Additionally, every other week we will be holding a Mindfulness Forum where our students gather to discuss their practice and come together as a community to share (the forum is an optional program and is not required). This program also offers an add-on of 6 private 1-on-1 Coaching Sessions with Coach Bill.
The program materials will be mailed and available online. Upon completion, you will receive a Certification in Equanimity Training, which can be a useful addition to any resume and count towards continuing education in many programs.

We know that our mind is always in training mode. That training is either Intentional or Unintentional. Equanimity Training actually changes the way the mind is trained and shows up in the mind.
Equanimity in the Mind shows up as:

Equanimity in the Mind shows up as:
- Understanding and Intention
- Steady and Focused
- Whole and Coherent
- Calm and Content
