We have selected an amazing Retreat Home located on the banks of Loch Tay near the quaint Scottish village of Killin. Your retreat home for the week may feel like a castle but has all the luxuries of a 5-Star Retreat Lodge. The lodge looks out over Loch Tay and the rugged Ben Lawers Mountain Range deep in the heart of Scotland.

Your Retreat Home has lush interiors that are atmospheric with a grand, medieval feel: think authentic vaulted ceilings, sumptuous, deep pile rugs and show-stealing lighting fixtures wrought from iron. Oh, and a spacious library, accented with rich, dark wood and offering row upon row of classic books. Panoramic windows are dotted throughout – through which you can admire the ever-changing view of the loch as the day’s dying light dances over the water.

Providing amazing meals is one of our top priorities; all meals will be prepared with the most Seasonal and Fresh produce from the finest of local purveyors.

​Our exclusive on-site chef, Joanne Hamilton with Geranium and Thyme, will prepare fresh & scrumptious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners each day.
(Excluding lunch on the day we journey to Edinburgh)

​Complimentary tea, herbal teas, coffees & soft drinks are provided, and a paid bar will be set up should you wish to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail and wine with your dinner.

Walk in the footsteps of the famous poet Robert Burns, feel how the birch trees inspired him, passing countless waterfalls and perhaps even spotting a rare red squirrel or wild stag!

Day Trip to Edinburgh

We will travel to this magical historic place to explore the capital of Scotland, renowned for its heritage and culture.

We provide transportation to and from The Lodge to Edinburgh. From there you’ll have your own free time to explore as you wish.perhaps a visit to Arthurs Seat, a trip to St Giles Cathedral, discover a unique pub, or shopping on the famous Georges Street.

A story of passion, told with pride stands above the fields where William Wallace led his troops to victory at The Battle of Stirling Bridge and tells the story of the patriot and martyr who became Scotland’s National Hero.

Drum Making Workshop*

Experience the transformational act of making your very own frame drum with sacred Scottish stag hind, in this deeply guided and ceremonious workshop. You will also make your own beater and experience a meditative journey to meet the spirit of your drum!

Those who participate in this event will also receive a drum bag to transport your drum home in.

​Glenturret Distillery Tour & Optional Master Whiskey Making*

Even if you’re not a fan of whiskey, it’s hard to not be impressed by the beauty, history and presence that is felt at the Glenturret Distillery. Having been visited down through the centuries by writers and poets, including Princes.
​
The Glenturret Distillery has long stood proud at the heart of Scotch Whisky country since 1763.

This excursion will include tasting and blending of whiskey and a delicious private lunch.

The Lodge

Perched on the banks of Loch Tay, every inch of this historic lodge feels cozy, warm and welcoming- from the rustic, exposed brickwork in the snug to the panoramic windows in the
spacious sitting room.

The interior is atmospheric with a grand, medieval feel. Vaulted ceilings, sumptuous, deep pile rugs and show-stopping views in almost every room.

Plenty of spaces to gather or retreat to, such as the charming library, accented with rich, dark wood and offering row upon row of classic books, with the most blissful window box to fall asleep in.

​There is also a games room, another sitting room and a cinema room.

THE GROUNDS
The beautiful grounds extend to around four acres along the banks of the Loch. Surrounded by lawns and orchards, to the west you’ll also find an enchanting woodland to explore.

A tumbling creek cascades through the trees, crossed by bridges and winding paths that meander through. Hidden among all of this is our fire pit, along with highland swings to play on and an outdoor jacuzzi to indulge in, as you watch the light dance over the waters and the sun set.

Guest Suites –
All bedrooms are ensuite and include all linen and towels as well as complimentary toiletries. Each room is named after a local bird and is decorated tastefully to honor this symbolism. You will receive DAILY housekeeping and freshening of your Suite.

TERM AND CONDITIONS -
Your flights into the United Kingdom are NOT included.
Traveler’s insurance is not required however we do highly recommend it.

All activities and excursions on and off the property are invitational and waivers will be required at time of booking.

A non-refundable deposit of £500.00 is required to secure your retreat place.

We offer a personalized monthly payment plan for the Retreat Fee to fit your needs with the balance paid in full by July 6th, 2024.

Transport will be available to the Retreat location from Glasgow on Saturday 5th October at 3:00 PM arrangements will be made once we receive your registration.

If you are driving you are most welcome to meet us at the lodge from 4:30PM on October 5th there is plenty of parking. Directions and address will be given closer to the time.

Cancellation Policy:

If any individual participant elects to cancel prior to May 1, 2024, the participant shall be refunded monies collected minus a £500 cancellation fee.

After May 1, 2024 but before July 1, 2024 the participant shall be refunded 50% of all funds collected.

After July 1, 2024 and before August 30th, 2024, participants shall be refunded 30% of all funds collected.

If any participant cancels after August 30, 2024 all monies collected are non-refundable.
